Staffordshire Moorlands Cricket Development Group

Welcome to the Home Page of the Staffordshire Moorlands Cricket Development Group

The Group is committed to developing the game in the Staffordshire Moorlands area and is particularly keen to introduce young people, the future of the game.

The Group is responsible for various activies in the Staffordshire Moorlands area, including;

Schools Cricket Festivals (Years 3 - 4, and 5 - 6)
Proficiency Award Courses (Bronze & Silver and Gold)

The Group is actively involved in promoting Girls cricket in the District, and a coaching schedule is currently in place.

The Group relies heavily upon the Staffordshire Moorlands District Council which acts as its Secretariat with Sports Development Officer , Ben Davenport, actively involved.
